We currently offer PowerFlour on a commercial scale.

Patent is pending for a new ingredient that is expected to be brought to market soon.

PowerFlour is one of our clean-label food ingredients. It is derived (upcycled) from brewer’s grain that we collect from beer brewers. PowerFlour contains high levels of fibre and protein.

PowerFlour is a versatile ingredient. It pleasantly enhances the complexity of flavour profiles. Its high fibre and protein content boosts the nutritional values of your food products. And to top it all off, PowerFlour improves the ecological footprint of food products – recuding CO2 emissions, the use of arable land and sweet water all in one.

PowerFlour consists of 55% fibre and 25% protein.

Dietary fibre ensures a healthy digestive system. It helps maintain normal bowel functions, normal blood sugar levels, and a healthy immune system. Recently, scientific studies have even connected fibre intake to a healthy functioning of the brain. High fibre products help you feel full longer and maintain your body weight.

Proteins are building blocks that help you build and maintain a strong body. The essential amino acids in our PowerFlour are needed to maintain your muscle.

PowerFlour contains little carbohydrates and sugars, and is therefore lower in calories.

PowerFlour is incredibly versatile and suitable for use in diverse food products.

For example, it can be used to enrich the flavour of bread, to improve the nutritional profile of pastry products, to improve the structure of meat replacers, or to make healthy snacks with lots of fibre. And these are just a few examples.

Notwithstanding its name, PowerFlour is really no flour.

Regular flour has a high proportion of starches. PowerFlour has not. Being derived from brewer’s grain, it consists of fibres and proteins mainly. PowerFlour thus has different properties than regular flour, and with it other applications.

We have a dedicated team that offers you technical support in baking or cooking with PowerFlour. Their extensive experience with product development and PowerFlour, helps you explore opportunities efficiently.

PowerFlour contains gluten, as it is derived from barley.

There is no alcohol in PowerFlour.

Alcohol in beer is created only after the brewer’s grain is removed from the brewing process.
