WHAT IS POWER FLOUR

Power Flour is a unique flour derived from the grains that are left over after the brewer has brewed its beer. These beer grains (officially known as Brewer’s Spent Grains) make up 85% of brewing waste. By stabilizing and up-cycling left-over beer grains into Power Flour on a large scale, MaGie Creations provides the perfect solution for food producers that want to create food solutions that are both more sustainable and healthier.

HOW DOES IT WORK

During the first steps of the brewing process, brewers soak high-quality grains, like barley, in water. Once the beer grains are cooked, they strain the mixture, keeping the gold liquid to make the beer, and discarding the beer grains.

BUT…

These beer grains are still incredibly tasty and contain valuable nutrients, such as protein, fiber, and amino acids! And here is where MaGie Creations comes into play: we collect beer grains and convert them into our Power Flour by properly stabilizing the grains and milling them into fine and tasty flour.
